Product Description
With the growing interest in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology, Fuel Cells are once again becoming a significant part of the energy ecosystem.
Hydrogenergy’s Fuel Cell Lab equips users with the knowledge and skills to work with Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology, enabling them to design micro Fuel Cell-enabled standalone systems.
Fuel Cell Training System is a comprehensive, standalone setup. The fuel cell output is connected to a charge controller, which is further linked to a battery, an inverter, and AC/DC loads for powering various utilities.
The Fuel Cell unit receives dry hydrogen from a gas cylinder at a preset flow rate. While the power generated can be used directly by a DC load, the V-I characteristics of the fuel cell cause the voltage to drop as the load increases. Therefore, the fuel cell output is first routed through a charge controller that charges a battery, ensuring stable output based on the battery voltage. The battery bank is then connected to a home inverter, enabling the system to power household utilities.
By using the Fuel Cell Training System, users can gain a deep understanding of fuel cell characteristics. They can explore the impact of varying resistive loads or DC-DC converters, study the relationship between hydrogen supply and power output, analyze fuel cell performance with DC/AC loads, and observe output variations with temperature changes.
